Three Alabama Students Place in National PTA Reflections' Competition

Congratulations to three of our Alabama students that placed in the National PTA Reflections' competition!  These students were all first place winners in Alabama and continued on to the national level.  All entries centered around the theme "The World Would be a Better Place If..."


  • Film Production  - Michael Aaron Rose -  Huntsville High School - Huntsville, AL

  • Literature - Keandra Pope - Booker T Washington Magnet High School - Montgomery, AL

  • Visual Arts - Maria Elena Tovar - Monte Sano Elementary School - Huntsville, AL


Each student was recognized as an Award of Merit winner by National PTA.


They will receive:

  • A silver-plated Reflections medallion

  • A certificate and letter signed by the National PTA president 

  • Recognition in the annual PTA Reflections online gallery
