Alabama PTA strongly supports these standards. These are rigorous academic standards which are making remarkable steps in Alabama’s children’s teaching and learning. Alabama PTA stands united with, parents, educators, business, and military leaders across our state in support of these standards.
This proposed legislation will only move us backward.
We ask that you please contact your legislator along with the ones listed above and send them a powerful message that we, the Alabama PTA, supports the Alabama College and Career Readiness Standards and are strongly against any legislation that attempts repeal the standards.
