What is All Pro Dad?
All Pro Dad is the fatherhood program of Family First, a national non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families. All Pro Dad features NFL players, coaches and alumni who speak out about the importance of fatherhood. Through its free daily email, school-based breakfasts and NFL events, All Pro Dad reaches hundreds of thousands of men with practical parenting advice.
Why is the PTA working with All Pro Dad?
Research shows the enormous impact that fathers have on their children. The PTA is committed to the best possible father-child relationship, to benefit children, their schools and encourage men to join the PTA.
What is an All Pro Dad’s Day?
All Pro Dad’s Day is a one-hour monthly breakfast held before school, where fathers and their kids meet with other dads and kids in the school’s cafeteria. At this gathering, they discuss a wide range of family topics and are equipped with resources to strengthen their relationships.
How it works:
-
Dads introduce themselves and their
children, and then share why they are
proud of their kids. - A discussion topic is introduced, for
example: peer pressure, goal setting, or
caring for the less fortunate. - Door prizes are awarded at the end of the breakfast meeting.
