PTA members should be actively involved in efforts relative to the well being of children and families. The real working capital of PTA lies in its members, not in its treasury! Fundraising is not PTAs primary function. PTAs must be informed on issues, be committed to the improvement of opportunities for all children, and be dedicated to the task of bringing about change. PTA is ACCOUNTABLE! We want to help you become a stronger advocate for children. |

Alabama PTA will be sending legislative alerts via postcard and email. We invite you to join us in the gallery at the Alabama State House when the legislature is in session. We encourage you to attend all of the PTA events listed on the front of this postcard to learn how to be an advocate for children individually and collectively. PTA members ultimately make the real difference in achieving legislative goals!

The Alabama PTA is the strongest statewide organization working exclusively on behalf of children and youth. Founded in 1911, Alabama PTA's primary objective is to strengthen the family unit through parent involvement.
