Theme: “Diversity Means...”
The Reflections Program is a National PTA cultural arts competition started in 1969 and administered by state PTAs. Every year a new theme is chosen and students create work at home or in school in six categories:
- Literature,
- Music,
- Photography,
- Visual Arts,
- Dance Choreography and
- Film/Video Production.
State Deadline will be January 31, 2012
(Date is earlier for PTAs in a Council.
Check with your council.)
The Reflections Program provides an opportunity for students in grades K-12 to express their thoughts and feelings through the creative arts. Alabama PTA awards each student who reaches the state level of judging a certificate of participation.
